Every step is inspectable, and nothing irreversible happens without a review screen. The effort goes into a template you build once — then the two hundredth document costs the same as the first.

Three screens carry the whole product. The editor decides what a document looks like, validation decides whether the data is fit to produce one, and the results screen tells you exactly what happened to every row.
Lay the document out once — text, tables, images, QR codes, or your existing PDF letterhead as a page background — then drop typed merge fields exactly where the values belong.
Import a spreadsheet and every row is checked against the template before a single PDF is produced: missing required values, unparsable dates, bad numbers, and duplicate output filenames, each reported against its own row and field.
Run the batch and get per-row results, not a single pass-or-fail. Failed rows are listed with reasons and can be retried on their own — successful documents are never regenerated, and hard failures release their credits.
Why not mail merge
Word and a mail-merge macro will produce letters. These are the six things that stop going wrong once the layout, the data, and the run are separate, inspectable stages.
Mail merge drifts: someone edits the master, a paragraph reflows, and three letters in the batch look different. A DocForge job references an immutable template version, so a rerun months later produces the same page.
Versioned, reproducible templates
A missing joining date becomes an offer letter that says 'Invalid Date' to a new hire. Validation runs first and names the row, the field, and the reason.
Row- and field-level validation
When three documents out of 400 fail, you retry those three. Successful documents are never regenerated, never re-sent, and never billed twice.
Failed-row-only retry
Credits are reserved when a batch starts and finalized against documents that genuinely rendered. Hard failures release their credits automatically, and local batches never touch the quota.

No upload, no server storage
The work is front-loaded into a template you build once. The 200th certificate costs the same effort as the first, and next term's batch is a new spreadsheet against the same design.
